Ideal for locations that lack a separate pedestrian entrance or the space to add one, a wicket gate, also known as a wicket door, provides a convenient method of access through a roller shutter door without needing to open the entire shutter, improving energy efficiency and security. Priory wicket gates are a cost-effective, fitter friendly alternative to the expense of installing a separate door!
Clever design…
A neat piece of design, a wicket gate is fitted to the side of a roller shutter door and locked in place when the door is closed. When unlocked, the wicket gate hinges aside to allow the shutter to fully open. Safe operation on powered doors is paramount with safety interlocks preventing opening of the roller shutter door when the wicket gate in its locked position.
Fitter friendly…
Designed for the trade, wicket gates from Priory are universally handed and very fitter friendly – wicket gates do not require welding, only bolt fixings to install… AND, they can be retrofitted. Simple for installers when installed with a shutter and no need for the customer to purchase a new shutter if retrofitted – the best of both worlds!
