frames providing high performance and architectural versatility. The door frames are manufactured at a state of the art plant
with precision machinery ensuring that the door leaves and the frames are produced to a consistently high quality. All doorsets are factory prepared to receive the relevant ironmongery
which makes them light and easy to handle on site, thereby ensuring a speedy and efficient installation. Continuous Hinge The main advantages of our steel hinged door sets compared to other
manufacturers is that they are supplied with an electro-zinc plated continuous hinge as opposed to two or three separate hinges,
which gives added protection against vandals and distributes the weight of the door evenly. Door Construction
The doorsets are able to withstand regular heavy use and long exposure to the elements, their strong and durable design provides
better security than standard doorsets and a greater deterrent to any would be intruders.
The door sets also come as standard with dog bolts and an anti-jemmy strip.
All of our door sets are bespoke to any size required so you are not subject to standard doors supplied.
The door leaf is manufactured from folded 1.2mm thick Zintec steel,
a durable, rust free material, which provides an excellent surface for painting, with a 40mm box section infill with galvanised steel
bracing for strength and for door hardware support, forming a 44mm thick leaf.
Door Frame Specification
The doorframe is constructed from 1.6mm thick galvanised steel with a single rebate profile. The jambs are reinforced for all hardware supplied. The frame is fixed to the surrounding structure using the appropriate fixings supplied.
Door furniture
A zinc-plated continuous hinge, incorporating 2 no. secuirty pegs is supplied as standard with options as follows: -
*Mortic Locks - available in many variations covering all applications
*Door furniture - options include levers, pull handles, push plates, kick plates, locking bars etc.
*Door closures - available up to size 7 and covering all applications
*Bolts - fitted into the leading edge inactive leaf, when required on double door sets
*Thresholds - either a flat or single rebated profile enabling the door to open one way
*Louvres - constructed from galvanised steel, in square or rectangular format
*Vision panels - available in square, rectangular and circular format
*Finish - Grey primer as standard, extra for poweder coated finish in RAL or BS colours.
